The United States Mint has released its Production Report for April 2020. The report shows that 801.84 million coins were produced in the Denver and Philadelphia facilities, a drop of nearly 91 million from the March report. The United States Mint has released its sales report for the 7-day period ending May 3, 2020. The report shows that once again, Proof Sets remain the top sellers for the Mint, both 2020 and 2019 sets across many different products. The United States Mint has updated its production schedule for May and June 2020, setting release dates for several Numismatic products over the next 8 weeks. Last month, the Mint stopped all production of Numismatic products as it dealt with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The United States Mint has release the line art images of the upcoming 2020 Women’s Suffrage Centennial Silver Medal. This is the finalist of the images introduced by CCAC (Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee) back in October 2019. The silver medal will only be available in the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Proof Silver Dollar and Medal Set. The United States Mint has announced that it will be reopening its West Point production facility, in limited capacity, today. The opening comes a week after the facility was closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
