The United States Mint will begin sales of the series of National Purple Heart Hall of Honor commemorative coins later today. Sales will begin at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific on the Mint’s site. Technically today’s sale is a pre-order process. The Mint has indicated that it will be June 8, 2022. Introductory pricing will be in effect until March 24th at 3:00 PM Eastern. The United States Mint has released its weekly numismatic sales report for the seven-day period ending on Sunday, February 20, 2022. The report covers the previous seven days in numismatic product sales by the Mint and is separate from the bullion sales report. In an unannounced change to the production schedule, the United States Mint is set to begin sales of the 2022 Purple Heart Hall of Honor Commemoratives. The commemoratives had originally been slated for release in January but were postponed to a “TBD” date before the beginning of 2022.
