The report shows that overall, the Mint had a slow sales week with just 16,288 products sold for the week. NCIC Reports Theft of Rare 1871 Seated Liberty Dollar

The Numismatic Crime Information Center (NCIC) has reported the theft of a rare 1871 Seated Liberty Dollar that is PCGS grade PF-65+. The coin, valued at well over $4000 thanks to its high grade and CAC designation, was apparently taking by a “porch pirate”. The coin was shipped via FedEx from California to Cripple Creek, Colorado and was shipped as a Priority Overnight package requiring a signature. Unfortunately, the FedEx driver did not collect the …

United States Mint Bullion Sales Report – March 1, 2021

The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through to this morning, Monday, March 1, 2021. Overall the Mint sold 402,000 bullion coins in the previous week, the bulk of those being the American Eagle silver bullion coin.
