The United States Mint has announced the end of American Eagle bullion coin product for 2021. The final production of 2021 dated Eagles, both gold and silver, have been completed and production of 2022 dated Eagle bullion coins has begun. Final allocations to Authorized Purchasers have also been made for the 2021 dated coins. The bullion sales report reflects bullion coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different than the weekly numismatic product report. The United States Mint has updated its daily Bullion Sales Report through this morning, March 8, 2021. For the previous week, the Mint sold 829,000 bullion coins to Authorized Purchasers, with the vast majority of those sales being the American Eagle silver bullion one ounce coin. The United States Mint has informed companies in the Authorized Purchaser program of bullion coins that it has ceased production of the 2020 American Eagle silver coins.
