The Numismatic Crime Information Center (NCIC) has reported the theft of three coins – a gold Half Eagle and two ancient coins – in an apparent mail theft earlier this month. The incident involved a United States Postal Service package on or around October 5, 2020. Annual sets from the Mint continued to be strong sellers in the week as well as one of the two new products that the Mint released last week. In total, the Mint sold 5,443,678 products for the week.
