The United States Mint has published its weekly numismatic product sales report for the week ending Sunday, March 21, 2021. With no new product releases in the reporting period, sales were slow but better than most weeks without a new product release. Overall the Mint sold 25,322 numismatic products for the week. The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through to this morning, Monday, March 22, 2021. For the previous week, the Mint sold 710,500 bullion coins across the American Eagle and American Buffalo coin products. The top seller, as usual, was the American Eagle silver bullion coins with 691,000 one ounce coins sold for the week. The United States Mint has begun shipping the Christa McAuliffe commemorative coins to those who placed pre-orders earlier this year. The Proof and Uncirculated silver coin went on sale back in late January with the Mint stating at the time that orders would begin shipping on March 15, 2021. The United States Mint has updated its monthly Circulating Coins Production report to include production numbers for February 2021. Overall, the Mint produced 1,163,400,000 coins for circulation across the Denver and Philadelphia facilities. This is up from the 919,520,000 coins that the Mint pressed in January 2021.
