The Numismatic Crime Information Center (NCIC) has posted a bulletin on some coins that were removed from a cross country shipment. The coins, all PCGS or NGC graded, were apparently removed while in transit. The package was shipped via USPS cross country from New Jersey to Torrance, California. The United States Mint will open up sales of its next United States military 2.5-ounce silver medal later today. The medal honoring the United States Marine Corps will go on sale at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. The medal has a production limit of 10,000 pieces and there will be a household limit of one medal when sales open.
