A special mint strike 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar has set a record at auction. The 90% silver coin with champagne toning recently sold for a stunning $108,000 at Heritage Auctions. The coins was PCGS certified at MS-67 and is one of roughly a dozen examples of this particular coin with a special strike. Kennedy Half Dollar 2-Roll Set Available Today

As expected, the United States Mint has begun selling the 2-Roll set of 2019 Kennedy Half Dollar today. The rolls consist of 20 coins each, one roll from the Denver Mint while the other is from the Philadelphia Mint. The set is $32.95 and available on the US Mint site.
