The United States Mint has released its production report for July 2020, showing that nearly 1.7 billion coins were minted in the month. That pushes the total production to 8.2 billion for all of 2020. United States Mint Releases The USS Indianapolis Bronze Medal

The United States Mint has released its lates military bronze medal honoring the USS Indianapolis and its survivors. The medal, which was authorized back in 2018, commemorates the Portland-class heavy crusier that was commissioned in 1932 and sank on July 30, 1945. Only 316 of the 1,195 soldiers who were on the cruiser at the time of its sinking survived.
