The United States Mint has released its weekly sales report for the 7-day period ending September 6, 2020. Unsurprisingly, the new Colorized Basketball Hall of Fame commemoratives, annual sets, and bullion products remain key top selling items for the Mint. The theft happened at Affordable Jewelry and Precious Metals located in East Portland. The theft left the store’s manager severely injured and dozens of coins being stolen. The United States Mint has released its monthly production report for August 2020. The report reflects that the Mint produced 1.657 billion coins in the month, a slight drop from the 1.697 produced in July 2020. Overall, the Mint has produced just over 9.8 billion coins in 2020.
